The admin dashboard is the back office of your website. After logging in, you see menus for pages, posts, media, appearance, plugins, users and settings, plus notices about available updates. In WordPress, it is usually reached by adding \/wp-admin to your site address. If your public website is the storefront, the dashboard is the locked office behind the counter where the business actually gets run.<\/p>

This is where a small business owner handles day-to-day changes: updating hours, adding a new testimonial, approving blog comments or reviewing form entries. It is also where important warnings appear, like plugins that need updates.
