CRM stands for customer relationship management. A CRM is a shared, organized record of everyone your business deals with: who they are, how they found you, what they asked for and what happens next. It replaces sticky notes, spreadsheets and memory. Many CRMs also send reminders, track quotes through stages and log emails, so anyone on the team can pick up where a colleague left off.<\/p>

For a small business, the payoff is fewer lost leads. A contractor who gets ten quote requests a week can see which ones still need a callback and which turned into jobs.
