A domain name is the human-friendly address of your website. Computers find each other using strings of numbers, but nobody wants to remember those, so a domain name works like a contact name in your phone: you tap a name, and the phone handles the number behind it. A domain has a name you choose (such as smithplumbing) and an ending (such as .com).<\/p>

Why It Matters for Your Business<\/h2>

Your domain is often the first thing a customer sees on a business card, truck wrap or Google listing. A short, clear domain is easier to remember and to say over the phone. It also lets you use email like jane@smithplumbing.com instead of a free address, which looks more established and builds trust with new customers.<\/p>
